6th Grade

Supply List

General supplies to be kept in a supply box for all subjects:

  • School box labeled with student's name

  • 3 glue sticks

  • Scissors

  • Washable Markers

  • Colored pencils

  • 2 highlighters (any color)

  • 2 colored pens (any color other than black and blue)

  • 2 packages of pre-sharpened pencils, preferably Ticonderoga (these will be collected and shared as needed) 

  • Eraser

  • Dry erase markers

The following items are needed for these specific subjects:

Math

  • 1 - 1.5 inch binder with dividers

  • 1 Package of loose-leaf paper 

  • 3-ring hole punch that clips into their binder 

History

  • 1/2-inch binder

  • 1 extra-fine Sharpie for labeling maps (black, brown, purple, etc.)

  • 1 package of loose-leaf notebook paper

English

  • 1” 3-ring Binder 

Science

  • 1” 3-ring binder

Bible

  • 1 - Rose Book Notebook: Each student will receive the Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Timelines to use as a textbook for their career at The Compass Academy. Students will need a nice, sturdy notebook to take notes in instead of writing in the Rose Book.

  • 2 - Journal: Students will be journaling throughout the year and need a separate book to journal in.

  • 3 - A Bible: Students will academically learn from the ESV translation. Students can use their own Bibles if they desire and use the ESV classroom set during class if needed.  Supplying your child with their own ESV Bible will be ideal for their learning experience.

  • 4 - Note-taking supplies: Bible highlighters, pens/pencils, Bible tabs, etc.

Intro to Life Skills 

  • 2 - roll of select-a-size paper towels 

  • 1 - box of quart-size sealable bags 

  • 1 - box of gallon-size sealable bags 

  • 1 - container of disinfectant wipes 

  • 1 - tissues in a cube package 

  • 1 - pack of thank-you or blank note cards 

  • 1 - 1” 3-ring binder 

  • 1 - 3 ring tab dividers
